Rich McCarron served more than twenty years with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, working as a patrol deputy, major crimes detective, patrol sergeant, and supervisor of the department's community relations and anti-crime units. After retiring in 2011 he built a real estate practice in Central New York. He was appointed to the Onondaga County Legislature in 2023 representing the 11th District and won re-election in 2023 and 2025.

A fourth-generation Central New Yorker, James Corl grew up in Cicero and graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School and Le Moyne College. He went on to work in the New York State Senate as a Legislative Director. He is running on keeping opportunity in Central New York so families aren't forced to leave the region.

Joe Griffo has served the Mohawk Valley in public office for more than three decades — as an Oneida County legislator, as Mayor of Rome from 1991 to 2002, and as Oneida County Executive from 2003 to 2006. He was elected to the New York State Senate in 2008 and has represented the 53rd District since 2023. A graduate of SUNY Brockport, he lives in Rome with his wife Lorraine.

Born and raised in Utica, Mike Gentile has spent his career in local public service, including as an Oneida County Legislator and as chief of staff to Utica Mayor Michael Galime. He is running for the open 119th District seat on a platform of showing up in the community and making sure the district's concerns are heard in Albany.

Brian Miller has served in the New York State Assembly for eight years, currently representing the 122nd District, which covers parts of Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, and Otsego counties. He previously represented the 101st District. His work in the Assembly has centered on infrastructure, education, public safety, and constituent services.

A Liverpool High School graduate who studied agriculture at Penn State, John Lemondes served 27 years as a U.S. Army officer with multiple overseas deployments including Iraq and Afghanistan, retiring in 2014 as a Colonel. He and his family farm roughly 500 acres in LaFayette, raising sheep and producing hay, forage, and maple products. He was first elected to the Assembly in 2020 and is a former president of the Farmer Veteran Coalition of New York State.

Tim Kelly serves as Onondaga County's Director of Lead Initiatives and has spent his career in healthcare technology and business development across Central New York, including as founder and CEO of LifeSource Health. He holds a degree in political science from Syracuse University. He was the Republican nominee for the 127th Assembly District in 2024.

Patrick Becher has spent more than four decades in executive leadership roles, including as Syracuse City Budget Director and as Executive Director of the Mohawk Valley Water Authority for 28 years. He is running for the 128th District on a record of managing large operations and balancing public budgets.

Shawn Fiato grew up on Syracuse's North Side and has lived on Park Avenue since 1987, where she and her husband Matt raised three daughters. She helped found the Park Avenue Neighborhood Association and spent two decades organizing neighborhood improvement work and community events, helping secure roughly $3.3 million in reinvestment. She was appointed to the Onondaga County Legislature in January 2025.
